Limited Edition Collaborative Work
About the Work
Deep is a coastal work structured around contrast, depth, and containment.
The composition is divided along a strong shoreline boundary, where land, sand, and water are held in deliberate tension. Darkened water forms occupy much of the surface, layered with patterned movement that suggests depth without revealing it fully. The land edge remains measured and controlled, anchoring the work while allowing the water to dominate the visual field.
Rather than describing a place from above or within, Deep holds the viewer at a threshold — close enough to sense movement and weight, distant enough to retain clarity. Detail emerges gradually through repetition and variation, rewarding slow, attentive viewing.
Colour is restrained and intentional, used to establish contrast and spatial hierarchy rather than mood. The result is a work that feels contained yet expansive, quiet yet substantial.
Designed to hold presence within a space, Deep offers visual depth without distraction, revealing its structure over time through balance, reduction, and sustained observation.
